Synchronizing product licenses

Synchronization is for organizations with multiple Service Manager Consoles. If one console user updates the product license, the other console users need to synchronize with the server to recognize the license. Synchronization is done automatically whenever you close and reopen the console and after you enter a new license key, or it can be done manually.

To manually synchronize the product licenses in an open Service Manager Console:

  1. Go to the Administration workspace and expand the Provance Product Licensing > All Provance Product Licenses view.

  2. In the Tasks pane, click Synchronize Provance Product Licenses with Server.

All the licenses that are activated for the product are listed in the view. Go to the IT Asset Management Pack Overview page to view the updated license sta­tistics.
